Title
When the Matrix begins, Thomas Anderson is leading two seperate lives. In the day, he is a computer programmer for a large company. At night he is a hacker known as Neo. When Neo goes to an underground rave and meets Trinity, she tells him that Morpheus will get in contact with him. Apparently Morpheus and his crew have been watching for some time. When Morpheus sends for Neo, he tells him that he has two choices, find out what's really going on behind the smoke and mirrors, or wake up and believe what you want. Neo of course wants answers. The Matrix is a computer program which humans are plugged into so they don't see the truth. The truth is the year is close to 2200 AD, humans and machines are at war with eachother. After blocking out the sun,Neo and Trinity about to save Morpheus machines needed another source of power, so they use humans as batteries. There is a legend that one day one man would come and lead the humans into salvation. Morpheus is convinced that Neo is that One. At first Neo doesn't believe he could be the One, even the Oracle tells him that he is waiting for something, but when Morpheus is kidnapped by Agents, Neo steps up. Agents are programs designed to keep order inside the Matrix. The Agents finally catches up with Neo, and kill him. When it looks like the end, Trinity's love for him brings him back and gives him the final push he needs to fully understand his power. Neo destroys Agent Smith and the other agents run from him. Neo has now fully become the One.
Neo vs. Agent Smiths     In Reloaded, we see that Neo has become stronger, and the machines had to upgrade the agents to deal with him. We also see that the machines have located Zion and are hours away from destroying it. Agent Smith is back as well, this time in numbers. He can how duplicate himself into anyone, as many times as he wants. He also states that he no longer an agent of the Matrix. Neo continues his quest, following the Oracle's advice that leads him to the system Architect. He finds out that Smith is Neo's equal, a way of balancing Neo's ability inside the Matrix. He also comes to learn that the One is just another level of control. There have been five previous versions of the One, each one saving humanity, but destroying Zion in return. The One would then take choose people to free and rebuild Zion, and the cycle would begin anew, the Matrix would be reloaded. When Trinity is in trouble, Neo chooses the door that none of the others have chosen before, the one that destroys humanity all together.
Revolutions started right where Reloaded ended. After Neo learns that he isn't only connected to machines in the Matrix, but in the real world too, he uses this new found power prematurely and his mind is sent to a place between the real world and the Matrix. After Trinity rescues him, he tells them what he must do. While on the way to the Machine City, a Smith clone, whose put himself in a human body, attacks Neo. Neo kills him, after Smith blinds him. Meanwhile Zion is getting trampled by the machines. Trinity gets impaled when Final Battlethey reach the city, but this time Neo can't save her. They say their final goodbyes, as Neo is off to the head machine. He makes a deal with the machines, he'll stop Smith, but they must put a treaty to the war. The machines agree and plug him into the Matrix. Smith has duplicated himself to everybody in the Matrix, including the Oracle. Neo and Smith battle it out, until Neo realizes that he can't win. They're a balanced equation. So he allows Smith to clone himself in his body. Soon after, he is deleted because Smith has no purpose now. The Matrix is reloaded and there is peace between humans and machines.
