Previews and Reviews July 31st, 2009

So I finally put up a separate Previews and Reviews section on my site. I’ve done this for a few reasons, so when I blog people can comment on my blog and not ask what is that, now if they are interested in product reviews or previews they can go to that section and see what I thought. I’ve also done it because I don’t want to blog more than once a day, this way I can put up numerous previews or reviews in one day and not have to worry about my blog space being overtaken by them.

There is another reason I did this and I haven’t hammered out all of the details yet, but I will eventually as time goes on break down the previews and reviews into sections like movie reviews, DVD reviews, movie Previews, video game Previews, website reviews, stuff like that. Yes I did say website reviews. I will have to come up with a way to judge websites and get a form up so people can submit their sites to be reviewed, but essentially it will be based on how much content there is, how easy it is to navigate, how it looks in my browsers (Safari and Firefox, maybe Chrome if I ever download it), how well your content is written, and some other things I haven’t fully thought about yet. For now if you want to be reviewed leave a comment about it on this or any other blog entry.

One last thing, if you put a link in a blog entry or on your site about my upcoming website reviews, in the next blog entry after I see you’ve done it I will give you a special thanks for putting it up and letting people know about it.

Comic-Con July 27th, 2009

I really want to go to Comic Con one year. I just finished watching the Lost panel, and I’ve been reading up on the updates and it sounds really cool. Even if I never get to E3, I’d eventually like to one day go to Comic Con. All week I’ve been watching the videos and reading the stories and I think during the NY Comic Con I might actually try getting into the city to go. I know some people who I might meet up with there, so even if I go alone, I could still hang out with people once there.

Iron Man 2 sounds like it is going to be awesome, I was hoping to hear more about the Avengers, or even a Hulk sequel, but I guess we need to have Iron Man 2 come out before any of that since it is all in the same universe now. The Avengers actually looks like it is going to be good, though I am not sure how Iron Man 2 is going to play into it since The Incredible Hulk made it sound like the team was almost all set to go.

The new footage from Left 4 Dead 2 is making me think I will be going out on launch day to pick it up. If that is the case, I will probably pre-order from FYE since it is right up the road. I was a little disappointed that they didn’t show any footage from the sequel to Marvel Ultimate Alliance, but oh well.

3 Years Together July 20th, 2009

July 21st (tomorrow) is Krissy’s and my anniversary. I can’t believe we’ve been together three years. We’ve had our ups and downs like any couple, but we’ve always been able to pull through stronger than before.

I think we might be going to Bertucci’s for dinner tomorrow, which I am all for, since I can get chicken parmagiana and unlimited bread. Believe me they have excellent bread. Kris also took the day off, which she needs, the poor thing works for a shit company and doesn’t get paid nearly enough. We also have some giftcards for movies, so maybe we will hit one up, though I don’t know if there’s anything she wants to see. Anything out now, I could honestly wait until it comes to DVD.
