| Hectic Week | May 14th, 2009 |
It’s been a very hectic week. On Saturday when I was out picking up a Sicilian pie, I backed into someone. We decided not to go through the insurance company because if we did it would raise both our rates. Being we did that though, I had to give her $350 to fix a dent in her bumper. Oh well could have been worse. Ever since then I have been working to get the money back into the account. I’ve got three clients that I’ve been working with in the last few days, which are taking up my time so much that I haven’t been able to update my TGP at all. It is all right though because this brings in more money. Eventually I will get back to being days ahead on the TGP, but for now it doesn’t look like that is going to happen anytime soon. I’ve gotten a lot of feedback on GTA in my comments, I love the Grand Theft Auto series. I ended up picking up Resident Evil 5 and playing it sporadically for the last week. I somehow managed to beat the game though, I guess it was relatively shorter than 4, which I never fully completed, but I hear that it was a long game. Oh well, at lease Chris and Jill are both alive and hopefully will appear together in Resident Evil 6.

| Need to Rig a Tripod | May 7th, 2009 |
Lindsay gave me an idea for videos today. I might set up my camcorder in front of the tv and record it that way instead of making a video capture computer. I might do it one day, but right now we don’t have the room, so I may just stick to video taping a television. My only problem is that I don’t have a tripod tall enough, so I will need to rig something together. In other news I have my transcript forms all ready to be sent out tomorrow. I also have a rental from Blockbuster so I may pick up Call of Duty, or even Halo Wars. I am not sure what I am in the mood to play yet. I have been playing a lot of GTA4, but that seems to be getting boring. I haven’t ever played through a GTA game completely, sometimes I don’t even get off the first island, I thought it might be different with GTA4, guess not. I kind of want to see what all the fuss is with Saints Row, so I may pick that up.

| Good Money, But Not Good Circumstances | May 2nd, 2009 |
Believe it or not, this is my first post from WordPress 2.7.1. I can already tell that my character count plugin doesn’t work, so I will need to fix that, I suppose. I am getting less and less people interested in the word count, but for some reason that still works. I like where the new version puts it too, but since a word count is already included in the new versions of WordPress, my little plugin is obsolete. Oh well. In work news, after weeks of having very little to do, things have finally picked up. I got one client off of Twitter, and another one off of the Social Engine Base forum. I also have returning clients asking for work, which is nice. If this continues, we might be able to afford to get a bed soon, along with some other things. Speaking of money, we are going out tonight with Alicia and Dave for dinner. He is giving me a contract to look over and if I sign, I will be entitled to over $1000 a day if a disaster strikes and I go down in it. I would be basically working a spreadsheet to keep track of drivers who are down rescuing animals. Granted, there needs to be a disaster for that to happen, and I’d never wish anything like Katrina on anybody else, but it would be good money for a couple days worth of work. I am going to comment back and then head out to dinner I guess. What do you guys think if I made a login here, and let people sign up, post pictures, and add features as they come? Kind of like a little social network of sorts, with the main function in the beginning being a forum? Let me know.
