Blockbuster must be really hurting for money. I went and picked up Resident Evil: Degeneration and they told me that if I preorders Resident Evil 5 with them, I could have it a day early. That’s right, to get people to buy the game from them they are breaking the street date of March 13th and are willing to sell it on March 12th.

March 12th would be my grandmother’s birthday if she were still alive, so I think it is odd that the game I am most looking forward to, above Halo Wars, Ghost Busters, and Halo 3:ODST, is coming out on what would be her birthday. I might preorder just so I can shoot some undead bastards a day early. Is this deal being offered at all Blockbuster locations, or is it just mine?

I have been a fan of the Resident Evil series since I first borrowed Resident Evil from my friend Brett for the original Playstation. Over ten years later the game still freaks me out. This time is different, this time you have a partner with you and you aren’t alone. Also they aren’t zombies anymore, they are tougher creatures, much like you fought in Resident Evil 4, but if they try and kill me in a Resident Evil game I will refer to them as zombies now and up to Resident Evil 10, if they make it. I am not sure if I will be picking this game up when it comes out, since it will be out ten days after Halo Wars, but it will definitely be a game I will be picking up at some point.
